We’ve all had mornings where we wake up full of self-doubt and a lack of motivation. Feeling like doing nothing. Many times it’s a combination of overtiredness from a week of working hard and lack of sleep.

We would find it hard to motivate ourselves to do anything that really important or significant. We begin to feel bad and start to self-doubt ourselves. Then a feeling of wondering if anything we do is worthwhile.

All of the sudden we find ourselves cemented in this low-level energy wondering how to get out.

But, know that this is in most cases just a mild depression and in many cases very temporary and easy to be dealt with.


Here are 4 things that may work you when the feelings of self-doubt and lack of motivation show up in your day.


Center Yourself as an Expression.

When you fail center yourself, you see everything from the viewpoint of how life affects you. This line of thinking can really have a negative effect on you.

You can easily begin having the feelings of self-doubt and lack of motivation. Easily you may begin to feel sorry yourself when things reflect not to your liking.

The true problem with that is, as a result of the Law of Attraction, your negative feelings resulting from what you see only attracts more of the same kind of results, deepening your negative state of being.

What you want to do is see yourself as an expression. What you are to the world, how you can serve others, how things CAN BE, because of you.

As you grow as an expression, life becomes exciting and worthwhile.


Relax Your Way of Being

Living as “This is just the way I am”  makes you an easy target for those who what to get under your skin.

People will consistently challenge you to show you how your way of being is ineffective, which in return have you always in defensive mode.

Also, when you live as an “action” competitive, productive, motivated, enthusiastic, etc. , the moment you are not, you think something is wrong with you. When in fact, it’s meaningless.

See yourself as a person of many dimension with the ability to be who you need to be, when you need to be it.

Recognize that you are not perfect and that it’s perfectly, OK.


 Remember Every Moment Counts.

Every moment of existence has the potential to be your last moment. This makes each moment a gift, a blessing , a miracle.

I especially came to understand this during my career in law enforcement. I can’t tell you how many times a person that  I had just had a conversation with, I would short time  period latter find lying before me as a victim of some fatal incident.

Every moment that you have is so valuable.

Do something worthwhile.

Make each moment count!



Move, Take Action!

When you’re feeling stuck, it is so hard to get moving. Each step seems is so unworthy to engage.

The problem is you are focus on the next step. When this is your focus, your reward is just another step.

The key is to focus on the destination.

If you were here in Arizona, in our 109 degree heat, and I put 10- $100 bill on a smothering sidewalk 10ft from where you stood and then told you to walk barefooted to retrieve them, as long as you focused on the money, the steps wouldn’t matter.
